1. Well, this is what actually started it all….

During the quest for a simple studio space in northeast Tennessee, we happened upon the for-sale sign in the yard of 218 Main St. Bluff City TN. Even though we dared not dream of such a place, our realtor Corey McPherson arranged for a tour the very next day. Throughout the evening we pondered and envisioned what a place like this could mean to us and the town we care so very much about. As we met both Corey and our dear idea-filled friend Debbie at the house the next day, I found myself saying, "Welcome to the Bluff City Cultural Art Center!" And we all smiled as the warmth of the idea came over us like a cool breeze on that fall day in 2020. The house was in really good shape for its age and we could feel the love that must have permeated its entire existence. Oh yes, this was the place where dreams could be inspired and lived.
