6. Woo hoo!. . . .First House concert (June 23, 2021)

Having a goal is a great impetus for getting things done. Right? And we had one! Our first house concert was Wednesday June 23, 2021. We are so blessed to know some fabulous musicians. One of whom is an old high school buddy, Rafe Van Hoy. Rafe is amazingly talented, generous, funny, loves his Bullock Hollow family (several came to the concert!), AND is a great plumber!!!! While here, he put in a shower in the upstairs bathroom, fixed a leaky faucet, installed an outlet and helped me hang a curtain. How is that for a great first performer?

All kidding aside, Rafe was absolutely fabulous. Everyone enjoyed his fun, beautiful, sometimes tear jerking, and just exquisite music. His stories were engaging. His explanations right on point. And we just loved the ease with which he approached this house concert casual vision of sharing, talking, and being WITH the folks rather than just performing for them. It was a great great time.
